Welcome to Abiqua Chess Club. We use chess as a tool for building community, connection and confidence. Our core values are focus, friends, and fun. Whether you are just learning how to play the game or preparing for your next tournament, all are welcome. We will have a chess lesson and instruction at the beginning of every class followed by free play. Featuring regional and state tournaments at the end of the year!

An 8-week series encourages creativity and emotional intelligence through imaginative storytelling intertwined with yoga based movement. Interactive classes are coupled with mindfulness games, art projects, and supportive group interactions which foster kiddos being their genuine and wonderful selves.

Students will engage in hands-on crafting projects that are themed around the current month and season. Each week, they explore different materials and techniques to create seasonal decorations, greeting cards, or small artworks that reflect the changing weather and holidays.

The 24 Challenge is a math competition held annually with Salem area schools. In the club, we’ll play math based games and practice for the competition. You can join just to play the math games, participating in the math competition is not required.
